Annamar Earth Movers

Annamar Earth Movers is situated at 23 Prakasam Street over in the P S Park area. If you walk down the street, you can’t really miss us because there is usually some kind of heavy equipment parked nearby or being worked on. The shop isn’t huge, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Most of the time, the floor is covered in a bit of oil or dirt from the machines we handle. It is just the nature of working with earth movers. The air smells like diesel and metal most mornings. We start early, usually before the sun gets too high, because the heat can be tough once midday hits. There are only a few of us here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One minute you might be answering the phone and the next you are helping move a heavy part. It is a practical place. We don’t have fancy furniture or a waiting room with a TV. People come here because they know we are on Prakasam Street and we know how to handle these machines. It’s a lot of manual work and getting your hands dirty. We have been in P S Park for a long time now. The neighbors know the sound of our engines. We just focus on the machines in front of us and try to keep up with the work that comes in through the gate.
