Gaffer Clothings

You’ll find Gaffer Clothings at Number 88 on Avaiyar Street, which is part of the Teachers Colony area. It’s a bit more residential than some other parts of town, so it’s usually a bit quieter around here. We like it that way because we can actually focus on our work without too much distraction. We’ve set up our clothing business in a way that feels comfortable. It’s not a huge factory line; it’s more of a workshop where we pay attention to what we’re doing. We handle a variety of clothes, mostly stuff for local shops and individual customers who know where to find us. Sometimes the street gets a bit blocked up with delivery trucks, and we have to go out and help move things along. We’re just regular folks who enjoy the process of making garments. We don't have any polished sales pitches or glossy brochures. If you come by, you’ll probably see us with measuring tapes around our necks or sitting at a sewing machine. We’ve been at this for a while, and we’ve learned that being straightforward is the best way to run a business. Teachers Colony is a nice place to work, and we’ve made some good friends in the neighborhood. We just do our best to make sure the clothes are well-made and ready when we say they will be. It's hard work, but we find it pretty satisfying at the end of the day.
