We’ve been here at Amala School Road for a while now. It’s a quiet spot in Gobichettipalayam, just off the 2 Min Nagar Extension area. Most days we are just sitting at our desks dealing with code and fixing things that break. It isn't always exciting, but we keep at it. The office is small and simple. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit for things to come back online. We started Britt Software Services Llp because we wanted to work near home instead of moving to a big city like Chennai. It's nice being close to family and knowing the people in the neighborhood. The coffee shop around the corner is where we usually end up in the afternoon. People ask us what we actually do all day. We tell them it’s mostly just making sure programs run the way they should. It takes a lot of typing and checking. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything. Just a door and some computers inside. Some days are long, especially when a project deadline is coming up fast. We try to get out on time though. Erode is a busy place but out here in the extension it's a bit more relaxed. We like it that way. The rainy season makes the road a bit muddy, but we don't mind. We just keep our boots by the door and get back to the keyboards. It’s just regular life for us.
