Abc Investments

Abc Investments is over at 33 Mohan Thottam in Erode. It is a decent spot, not too far from the main parts of town but quiet enough that we can actually get some work done. We handle local money stuff, mostly helping folks figure out where to put their savings. The office is just a regular room with some filing cabinets and a few chairs for when people stop by. We do not have any of those digital ticker tapes or big screens you see on the news. It is mostly just us looking at bank books and documents. Erode can get pretty humid, so we usually have the windows open to catch whatever breeze there is. There is a small temple nearby, so we hear the bells in the morning and evening. We do not go around promising to make anyone a millionaire overnight. We just look at the numbers and tell people what they are. It is a small operation, and we like it that way because we can actually remember everyone’s name. We have been in this building for several years, and the landlord is a good guy who doesn't bother us. Most of our clients are people we have known for a long time, or their cousins and friends. We do not do any big promotions. We just open up the shutters in the morning, have our coffee, and wait to see who comes in. It is a practical way to run things. (259 words)
