Ub Marine Exports is located at Door No.4/207 A in the Padavara area of Nedungad Nayarambalam. Since we are in the marine business, being in a place like Nayarambalam makes a lot of sense for us. You can feel the salt in the air sometimes when the wind blows right, and it reminds us of what we are working with every day. We export marine products, so a lot of our time is spent worrying about containers and cooling and shipping times. It is a lot of pressure, but we have gotten used to it over the years we've been here. Our office in Padavara is small and simple. We don't need a lot of space, just a place for the computers and the phones and a few chairs for when people visit. Most of the real action happens out at the docks or the processing areas anyway. When we are in the office, we are usually busy with the government forms and the export licenses that seem to never end. It’s a lot of boring stuff that has to be done right to avoid trouble. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big fancy headquarters or modern furniture. We just want to make sure the fish and other marine items get to where they are going while they are still fresh. It’s a tough business, but we like it well enough. The people around Nedungad are mostly hardworking folks, and we try to fit in with them.
