Konikara Exports

Konikara Exports is run out of Konikara House in the Kannamally area of Cochin-8. It's not a formal office building, just a regular house where we handle all our business matters. We have been operating from here for a long time, so the routine is pretty well set. Most of our days are spent checking on orders and talking with people about local goods that need to be sent abroad. Being in a residential spot means it's quiet in the mornings, which is good for focusing on the details of the export documents. We don't have fancy furniture or a big meeting room; we just use the space we have. Sometimes the power goes out during a storm and we have to wait it out with a torch, but that's just life in Cochin. We know the postman and the local drivers quite well by now. We aren't trying to be some massive company; we just want to get the work done right. Most of the stuff we handle is kept in the back area before it gets picked up. We don't really use much technology beyond the basics needed for email and tracking. It's a simple, honest way to make a living and we like being part of the Kannamally community. If you come by, you'll probably see us sorting through papers on the veranda.
