We are based over in Thattayathpulparambu, Muvattupuzha. Thattayath Trading And Exporting Limitedliability Partnership is basically just a few of us here. It’s not some big fancy office with glass walls, just a regular place where we get work done. We handle trading and exporting, which means a lot of time spent on the phone or checking lists. Most days start early because there is always something to load or a document that needs to be filed at the post office. People around here know us as the folks who are always busy with boxes and paperwork. It can get a bit loud in the office when everyone is talking at once, but that is just how it goes. We don't really have a big fancy speech about what we do. We just trade things and send them where they are supposed to go. Sometimes the weather makes things slow, especially when it rains hard like it does here in Kerala, but we manage. If you walk past our spot near the P.O., you’ll probably see us moving stuff around or just having a tea break. We’ve been at this for a while now and it’s basically our second home. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need. We don't use much fancy tech, just the basics to keep the orders moving. It is a lot of local work mixed with sending things far away.
