Ss Spices

If you’re driving down Kavumpady Road in Muvattupuzha, you’ll probably pass by us. We’re Ss Spices. It’s a straightforward setup. We don’t have a big front desk or fancy lights. Most of the time, the place is full of the smell of ground pepper and dried ginger. We get a lot of local folks stopping in because they know we’ve been on this road for a long time. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fans running high. We handle the spices ourselves, mostly just packing and moving them out to the shops nearby. Muvattupuzha is a good place for this kind of work. There’s always someone looking for good quality spices for their kitchen. We don’t do any big TV ads or anything. Most people find out about us from their neighbors. It’s a small team, just me and a couple of helpers. We try to stay organized, but sometimes when a big shipment comes in, things get a bit chaotic for a day or two. That’s just how the spice business works. We like being part of the community here. Kavumpady Road is always busy with traffic, but inside our shop, it’s just us doing our thing. It’s a decent way to make a living and we’re happy with how things are. We aren't fancy people, just hard workers trying to get through the week like everyone else. We just keep our focus on the spices and the people who use them.
