At Tharayil in Kaniyampuzha, we have the office for Spazeport Designers Private Limited. It is in the Nadama area of Eroor P O. We are based in Ernakulam, Kerala, and our pin code is 682306. We are a design firm, but we are also just a regular local business. The office is in a spot that we have been using for quite some time now. We spend most of our working hours there focusing on different design projects for various clients. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for us and our computer equipment. We have a small group of designers who work together on a daily basis. We don't really go for that polished corporate look at all. Our office is a bit lived-in, with sketches pinned to the walls and plenty of old coffee cups sitting around. We think it’s a better way to work and stay creative. Eroor is a nice place to be situated. It’s close enough to the main parts of Ernakulam so we can get to sites, but quiet enough to actually get things done without too much noise. We handle a variety of design tasks every day. Some days are more about the initial thinking and others are more about the technical drafting. We don't try to impress anyone with big marketing words. We just talk like we normally do and focus on the designs. Sometimes things go very smoothly and sometimes they don't, but that's just the nature of business. We are just trying to make a living.
