P K Ramachandran Engineering & Contractors

P K Ramachandran Engineering & Contractors is based at 48, Deepa Mandir in Karuvelipady. It’s more of a home-turned-office than a proper business center. We have been working out of this building for quite some time. The neighborhood is fairly busy, so there is always a lot of noise from the street outside. Inside, we have some old wooden cabinets where we keep all the project files and blueprints from years of contracting work. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything from the site visits to the billing. Most of the time, the office is empty because we are out at different locations checking on things. When we are here, it’s usually to catch up on paperwork or talk to a supplier on the phone. The furniture is a bit worn out, and we have stacks of papers everywhere. It’s not the most organized place, but we manage to find what we need most of the time. We don't go for any fancy marketing stuff. We just get the jobs done as they come in. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when multiple projects overlap. We usually have a lot of tea and just keep moving through the list of tasks. Karuvelipady is a good area to be in, even if the traffic is a bit much. We’ve known the neighbors for years. It’s just a simple, local engineering and contracting operation.
