Munnar Spices

We’ve been here at Munnar Spices on Vegetable Market Road for quite a while now. Nettoor is a busy spot, especially where we are. Dealing with spices is just what we do every day. It gets loud outside with all the vegetable sellers and trucks coming in early, but that is just part of being in this area. We keep things pretty simple inside. Most people just walk in from the market to see what we have on the shelves. It is not a big fancy place or anything. Just a regular shop where we handle different kinds of spices. Sometimes the smell of everything mixed together is really strong when you first walk in. We spend a lot of time weighing things out and putting them into bags. My hands usually smell like cardamom or pepper by the end of the shift. The building isn't new, and the shelves are just plain wood we put up ourselves. We don't really do much advertising. People mostly know us because they walk past while getting their groceries. It is a lot of work keeping everything organized, but we stay busy. If you are ever down near Nettoor, you will see us right there on the road. We just try to keep the stock fresh and the floors swept when it isn't too crowded. It's just a local business doing its thing day after day.
