M J Decoration & Balloons

Our little shop is based in Kochi, specifically in the 682011 zip code area. We focus on decorations and balloons for all kinds of local gatherings. It is a very hands-on job, so our hands are usually covered in bits of tape or dust from the balloons. We do not have a polished storefront with big glass windows. It is more of a workspace where we keep all our supplies stacked up on metal shelves. Most of the time, the floor is covered in half-inflated balloons and long strings of ribbon that we have to sort through. We spend a lot of our day driving around Ernakulam in a small van that gets quite hot in the afternoon sun. Setting up for a party takes more time than people think, and we are often standing on ladders or crawling on the floor to get everything into place. The humidity here in Kochi can make the balloons act funny sometimes, so we have learned a few tricks to keep them from popping too soon. We are not a giant company with a big marketing budget. We just do our work and hope people like what we did enough to tell their friends about us. It is a simple way of doing things, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just enjoy the process of putting things together and seeing a room change once we are finished.
