You can find Kollatt Watches & Clocks at G31 in Pioneer Towers on Marine Drive. Being right here in Kochi at Pioneer Towers means we get a lot of people walking by who are out for the day. It’s a small shop filled with all kinds of timepieces. We’ve got shelves with clocks and glass cases for the watches. The space isn't huge, so it feels a bit tight when more than two or three people are inside. We spend most of our time at the back bench with small tools and magnifying glasses. Fixing a watch takes a lot of patience and steady hands. We’ve been doing this for a long time now. The building is a well-known landmark, so we don't usually have to give people directions. We don't have any fancy marketing slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the repairs and changing batteries when people drop them off. Sometimes we have some older clocks that take a lot of work to get ticking again. It’s a quiet kind of job most days. Marine Drive is a nice area to work in, even if it gets crowded on the weekends. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. It’s just a traditional watch shop. We don't do anything else, just watches and clocks. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. Most our customers are locals who have been coming here for years.
