Saga Natural Spice Products

Our place is at Viii/310 in Kodanad, which you get to by going through Perumbavoor. When you come to our building, you can usually smell the spices like pepper and ginger before you even get inside. We handle all kinds of natural spice products and it is very physical work. The building is more like a big warehouse where we keep the crops we buy from the farmers nearby. We have large sacks of cardamom and other spices stacked up all over the place. It gets quite dusty inside because of the dried spices being moved around so much. We have some old scales for weighing the bags and a simple machine to seal the packets. It is mostly just a few of us doing all the work. We have lived around Perumbavoor our whole lives, so we know where to find the best crops each year. The work depends on the seasons, so some months we are working late and other months are a bit slower. We don't do any big advertisements, as most people around here already know where we are and what we do. It is a bit of a drive to get out to Kodanad, but it is where we need to be to get the work done. We just keep at it and make sure the sacks are packed and ready to go out to the customers.
