Kmk Granites Private Limited is located at Palikkattil House in Chalissery. We are in the Mikkilapeedika area, which sits right on the border of Palakkad and Thrissur. It’s a pretty quiet spot, which is good for us. We work with granite, so our daily life involves a lot of heavy stone and dust. It’s not an office job where you sit in a chair all day. Most of the time we are out in the yard or at the site. We’ve been doing this for many years now. It’s a local business and most of us grew up right here in the area. We don't have a polished sales team or a fancy showroom with bright lights. The stone is what it is, and people come to see it for themselves. The work is physically demanding and we are often tired by the end of the day. The sun can be quite harsh in Palakkad, so we start early to get the hardest work done before it gets too hot. We’ve got a small, steady crew of workers who know exactly what they’re doing. We aren't looking to become some massive corporate entity. We just want to keep providing good stone to the people who need it. It’s honest, hard work and we take a bit of pride in that. Chalissery is home for us, and we like it that way. We just keep things moving along.
