Kitex Babywear Limited

Kitex Babywear Limited is out in Kizhakkambalam, which is near Aluva. We use P B No 5 as our address here in Kochi-Ernakulam. It’s a big site and there is always something going on. We make baby clothes, so there’s a lot of fabric and threads everywhere you look. It’s not a quiet place because the machines are usually running. We’ve been part of this community for a long time now. A lot of the people who work here live just down the road. We aren't a fancy corporate office with glass walls. It’s a factory setting where people are working hard. We don't spend much time on polished presentations or corporate talk. We just focus on the orders we have to finish. Sometimes it gets really hot in the middle of the day, but we’re used to the Kerala weather. The rain can be really loud on the roof during the monsoon season. We’ve seen the company grow over the years, but the way we work hasn't changed that much. We still just try to get the job done right. It’s honest work and it keeps a lot of people busy in the area. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We just have our machines and our staff and a lot of work to do every day. It’s a straightforward business and that’s how we like it. We hope to stay here for many more years.
