Our place, Kaxson Light And Sound, is at No 70/1253 on Lfc Road in Kaloor. If you are near the Little Flower Church, you are basically right there. Ernakulam is always moving fast, and this area is no different. The shop is full of speakers, amplifiers, and miles of black cables. It’s not the neatest place in the world. We are usually in the middle of testing a sound system or repairing a light fixture. There is always a faint smell of solder in the air. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. Most of our gear is packed in flight cases, ready to go out for the next event. It’s a small team of us here. We handle everything from carrying the heavy boxes to plugging in the wires. Lfc Road is a busy stretch, so we have to be quick when we are loading the vans at the curb. We’ve been in Kaloor for a long time, and the church is a familiar sight every morning. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just hear about us from someone else. It is just a basic job we do. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just make sure the speakers work and the lights turn on when they are supposed to. It's a lot of late nights and early mornings.
