Georgieson Exports Private Limited is located at 32/ 1117A on Chathangattu Cross Road in Palarivattom. If you know Ernakulam, you know how busy Palarivattom can get with all the traffic and people moving around. Our office is tucked away a bit from the main noise, which is good when we are trying to concentrate on export orders. We deal with a lot of different things that people want to send abroad. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on shipping schedules at the port. It’s a lot of back-and-forth work. The office isn't very large, just enough room for our desks and a place to keep the files. We started this because we wanted to be in the middle of the trade action in Kochi. Ernakulam is the best place for that, even if the commute is a bit of a headache sometimes. We don't have any fancy mission statements or things like that. We just come in, do the work, and try to keep our clients happy by making sure their stuff gets on the ship on time. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big shipment going out. It’s just the way it is in this business. We are just local people who know a bit about how to move goods across borders, and we’ve been doing it from this spot for a while now. It is a busy life but we enjoy the rhythm of the city.
