Firing Petals

You can find us on the second floor of the Asian Tower, right on Thamman Road in Palarivattom. It’s a busy part of Ernakulam, so there’s always something going on downstairs. Our space is usually filled with whatever we are working on that day, whether it’s flowers or just getting things ready for a local event. It can get a bit messy with all the scraps and supplies lying around, but that’s just how we work at Firing Petals. The light in the morning is pretty good through the windows, which helps when we’re trying to get the details right. We aren’t a huge team, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while. People often walk past the Asian Tower building and miss us because we’re up on the second floor, but once they find the stairs, they usually stick around for a chat. It’s not a formal place at all. We have our desks, a lot of buckets, and usually some music playing in the background to keep the mood up. Dealing with the traffic in Palarivattom is part of the job, especially when we’re trying to move stuff in and out for an order. It’s a practical, local business and we just take each day as it comes. We’ve been at 682025 for some time and it feels like home now, even if it gets a bit crowded when a big order comes in. It is just part of our life here.
