Ferrous Engineering Industries

Ferrous Engineering Industries is located in Erumathala, near the Choondy area of Aluva. We get our mail at the Erumathala P.O., which is just down the road. It’s a bit of an industrial spot, which is perfect for the kind of work we do. We handle a lot of metal and engineering tasks, so it gets pretty noisy in the shop. We don’t have a fancy front desk or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us out in the back with the machines. The air is usually a bit metallic-smelling and there are scraps of iron here and there. That’s just the nature of the business. Aluva is a good place to be based because it’s easy to move goods in and out. We’ve been here for quite a while now and we’ve seen the shops around us change hands many times, but we’ve stayed put. Our team is small and everyone knows how to do a bit of everything. We don't have big meetings or long speeches. We just look at what needs to be made that day and we get to it. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we always fix them before the customer sees the final product. It’s not a perfect place, it’s just a working shop where people put in their hours and try to do a good job. We don't expect things to be easy, we just want to get the engineering right.
