Alwaye Engineering Works

Alwaye Engineering Works is based out in Thaikkattukara, just a short distance from the main Aluva area. It’s a typical engineering setup. We have a lot of iron, welding tools, and heavy machinery around the shop floor. The air usually smells a bit like grease and cut metal. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Most of us are in work clothes that have seen better days. We’ve been at this post for quite a while, and the locals know us as the place to get things fixed or fabricated. The sound of the grinders is something you just stop hearing after a few weeks. We have a small office where the paperwork gets done, but most of the action happens out back. Sometimes we get complicated jobs that take a few days of scratching our heads, and other times it’s just routine stuff. The weather in Aluva can be pretty humid, so the workshop gets hot in the afternoons. We usually take a long break for tea to cool off. It’s a small team, so everyone knows whose turn it is to clean up. We don’t have a website with glossy photos. What you see is just a bunch of guys working with their hands to get the job done right. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on.
