Don Happenings

If you’re looking for us, we’re over in the V B Udyog Building on St Vincent Road. It’s right near Matha Tourist Home, which is a landmark most people in Ernakulam North know. Our space, A6, is where we keep all our gear and do the planning for the various things we handle. It can get pretty messy in here with cables, boxes, and bits of equipment scattered around, especially when we’re just coming back from a long day out. It’s not a showroom or anything like that. It’s a place where work actually happens. The building is an older one, so it has that specific smell of concrete and old wood that you find in this part of the city. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving stuff in and out of the van. The neighborhood is usually quite active, and finding parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we make it work. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who enjoy being busy and staying involved in the local scene. We drink a lot of tea from the stall down the street and keep our heads down. It’s a simple life, really, just making sure everything is ready for the next job. Some days are long, and we end up staying late to fix things, but that’s just part of the trade.
