Ceejay Spices

If you are heading toward the airport from Manjapra Village, you will find us near the main Airport Road. Aluva is a good place to be for a business like ours because everything is moving so fast around here. You can hear the planes taking off sometimes while we are working inside. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we deal with all the spices. We have a small crew and most of them have been with us since we started. It gets a bit dusty when we are moving the sacks around but that is just how it is with this kind of work. We don't really do much advertising or anything. People usually find us because they live nearby or they have been told about us by someone else in the village. The mornings are usually the busiest time when the deliveries arrive. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets a bit cluttered when a big shipment comes in. We use the space we have and try not to get in anyone's way on the road. It is just a normal day-to-day operation. We drink a lot of tea and make sure the orders are ready on time. There is always something to do, whether it is cleaning up or checking the weight on the scales. It is just life in Aluva for us.
