Calavara Foods And Events is based in the Kakkanad area, right near the Central Economic Zone. We have been in this part of Ernakulam for a bit now, and it is a good spot because there is so much activity around the industrial zone. We handle both the food catering and the event planning side of things, which keeps us pretty busy most of the week. The kitchen side of the business is usually a bit chaotic, with a lot of chopping, cooking, and packing going on at all hours. Then there is the event side where we have to plan out the layouts and talk to all our different suppliers. It is a lot of different things to balance at once. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of employees or a fancy board of directors. It is just a group of us who enjoy working with food and organizing things for people. We do not have a polished or professional way of talking about what we do. We just do what needs to get done every single day. Sometimes the fridge breaks down or a delivery truck gets stuck in the heavy traffic, and we just have to deal with it. It is a practical, hands-on kind of life for us. We spend a lot of time on our feet in the kitchen or at venues. The office and kitchen are simple spaces where we just focus on the orders.
