August Travels

August Travels is based out of Gokulam on Temple Road, right there near the Kadavanthara Junction. It is a handy location for us because so many people pass through this intersection every single day. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular room where we keep our logs and take care of the travel business. We mostly handle things like vehicle bookings and helping people plan out their local trips. It can get pretty hectic around the junction, but inside it’s just us working through the list of things to do. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; people usually just hear about us from someone else or see the sign when they are stuck in traffic. It’s a small operation, and we like keeping it that way so we can actually remember who we are talking to. Some days are quieter than others, giving us time to catch up on the books. When people come in, we just sit down and talk about what they need. There is no script or anything like that. We just look at the calendar and see what can be done. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy in this part of Ernakulam. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us by now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time for that yet. We just keep focusing on the bookings.
