Athulya Engineering & Elevators

Our business, Athulya Engineering & Elevators, is located in the Pottekattu Building in Edayakkunnam, South Chittoor. It is a nice area near the water, though we spend most of our time inside the building or out at various sites. Elevators are heavy and complicated things, so our space is often full of large parts, pulleys, and control panels waiting to be installed. The Pottekattu Building is easy to find once you get into South Chittoor. We have a small office area for the paperwork and a larger space for the hardware. It is often a bit disorganized because we are always moving things in and out. We aren't the type of people who wear ties; we are usually in work shirts and boots. Dealing with elevators means we are often climbing into tight spaces or looking down shafts, so it is a physical job. Our team is a mix of older guys who have seen every kind of lift problem and younger ones who are still learning the ropes. We drink a lot of water because of the humidity here. Sometimes the rains make it hard to get to the sites, but we manage. We just focus on making sure the lifts we work on are running smoothly and don't get stuck. It is a necessary job and we take pride in the fact that we have been doing it locally for many years.
