Kat Engineering

Kat Engineering is located right at Kairali Junction in North Paravoor. If you know the Vadakkumpuram area at all, you have probably passed by our shop a dozen times without thinking much of it. It is a busy spot with plenty of people moving around the junction all day long. Our workshop is where we spend the bulk of our working hours, surrounded by scrap metal, heavy tools, and the smell of grease. It definitely is not a quiet place to be. There is almost always something being hammered, drilled, or cut on the benches. We handle a lot of different engineering tasks, mostly small to medium jobs for regular people and small businesses around Paravoor. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the afternoon, and then we have to sweep it all up to start fresh the next morning. It is honest work and it keeps our small crew busy from Monday through Saturday. The weather here can get really muggy and humid, so we keep the big fans going at full speed while we are working on the machines. We are not a huge corporation, just a local outfit with a few hands on deck. We do not spend our money on fancy decorations or massive signs. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. We just focus on the task at hand.
