Mecon Ltd Ranchi

We are over at the Telco Works area in Ranchi. Our spot is a bit different because it is actually a residential quarter, specifically Qr No K2 104 on A Road. This part of the city is dominated by the big industrial plants, so there is a very specific feel to the whole neighborhood. Living and working in a quarter means you are always close to the action. It is a small space, but we have managed to set up our workstations inside without too much trouble. It is basically like a home that slowly turned into an office over time. We have our files in one room and the computers in the other. Outside, the road is usually quiet, though you can hear the distant sounds of the works from time to time. We know all the neighbors since they mostly work for the same company or related industries. It is a very close-knit community around here. You do not see any big signs or bright advertisements outside our door. People who need us usually already know exactly where we are. We have a small garden area in the front which we try to keep tidy, though the Ranchi sun can be tough on the plants in the summer. Most of our work is handled by mail or through the internal company system. We do not get a lot of random walk-ins. It is just a very practical way to operate.
