Living and working in Jamshedpur has a specific rhythm to it, especially being around Agrico. Our setup is right in the Gf5 Supervisory Flat, specifically Flat No. 69. It’s a practical space, nothing too flashy, which suits the way we do things at Lafarge. Being in a supervisory flat means we are usually right in the middle of whatever is happening locally. The area around the post office is always bustling, and you get used to the sounds of the city pretty quickly. We spend a lot of time on our computers or talking to people coming in and out. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find polished desks or marble floors. It’s more about folders, site plans, and making sure the numbers add up. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but that is just part of life here. We handle the paperwork and the logistics without much fuss. If you walk by Flat 69, you’ll probably hear us discussing the next shipment or sorting through some inventory issues. It’s honest work that needs doing, and doing it from a flat makes it feel a bit more personal. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and know the local routine well. Jamshedpur is a hardworking town, and we try to match that energy every day without making a big deal out of it.
