Akshar International School

You can find us over at 481, G Road West Layout in Sonari. It is a decent spot in Jamshedpur and pretty easy to get to once you know which turns to take in the layout. Akshar International School is just where we work and where the kids spend their day. We are not trying to be the biggest or flashiest place in town, just a steady school for the families nearby. The school has been part of the Sonari neighborhood for a bit now. You see the same faces every morning at the gate. Parents chatting while they wait, kids forgetting their lunch boxes in the car, and the usual morning chaos. We have the standard classrooms and a bit of space for them to run around during the break. It gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up off the main road, but that is just Jamshedpur for you. We focus on the daily lessons. There is no big corporate philosophy here, just getting the work done and making sure the kids learn their subjects. The staff here are mostly locals who have been with us for years. We drink a lot of tea in the break room and talk about how to fix a leaky tap or a projector that is acting up again. It is a real place with real small problems and little wins every day. When the bell rings at the end of the afternoon, it is a mad rush for the exit.
