F&B Asst

Our setup here at F&B Asst is a bit different because we operate out of the Mission Compound area in Shillong. If you know Meghalaya, you know it’s a beautiful place but things move at their own pace here, which is fine by us. We are located care of Mr. G. S. Basan. It is more of a home-office vibe than a corporate one. We help out with food and beverage tasks, mostly doing the backend stuff that people don't see. The weather in Shillong is usually nice and cool, though the rain can get quite heavy sometimes and lasts for days. That makes it a bit hard to get around, but we manage to stay on track. Our office is simple. We have a couple of desks and a lot of notebooks for tracking things. It’s not a place with a big neon sign outside or anything fancy. We mostly deal with local folks and small businesses around the compound. Working in a place like Mission Compound feels very grounded. You hear the sounds of the neighborhood and the church bells all day. We aren’t trying to be some massive company. We just want to provide the assistance that people need for their F&B operations. Sometimes we have tea and discuss the day's tasks before getting started. It’s a small team, very tight-knit and we've worked together for years. We like the personal touch of being in a community rather than a cold office building. It’s a quiet life but we stay busy enough.
