Our group is Pipuagro Navkrishak Farmers Producer Company Limited, and you can find us at Village Tassomlora in Seppa. We are tucked away in West Kameng, which is a beautiful part of the country but also a very hard place to be a farmer. We operate out of Takar Gyadi’s place. It’s a small village setup, nothing like the big offices you see in the cities. We are just a bunch of local farmers from the Pipu area who wanted to do things a bit differently by working together. Being a 'navkrishak' or a new farmer is what it’s about for some of us, though many have been doing this since they were kids. The road to Seppa can be a bit rough, and that’s usually what we are talking about—how to get our produce out to the markets without it getting spoiled. We don't have any fancy equipment or big marketing budgets. We just have our hands and the land. Every day is pretty much the same, checking on the crops and making sure things are moving along. It’s a bit messy sometimes, and we don't always have the answers, but we try our best to keep the company running from our village base. It's just a bunch of neighbors trying to make a living off the land they've always known. No more, no less than that.
