If you go to the Vikas Marg Band Market in Shakarpur, you’ll find us at U-177, Gali No.4. This is a very specific part of town where you see a lot of bands and musical instrument shops. It’s always loud here, with someone always practicing a trumpet or a drum nearby. We’ve been part of this market for a long time. Our place is where we keep the uniforms, the big brass instruments, and the drums. During the wedding season, it’s absolute chaos. We have people coming in to book us for processions, and we have to make sure the whole crew is ready and the uniforms are clean. The rest of the year is a bit slower, but there is always maintenance to do on the instruments. The shop isn’t very large, it’s mostly storage and a small spot to sit and talk to customers. Shakarpur is a busy, crowded area, and Gali No.4 is no exception. You’ll see our sign among many others. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people coming into the market. It’s a family-style business, and we take it day by day. We take pride in being part of the local tradition here. You can hear us before you see us most of the time. It’s hard work, especially walking miles during a parade, but it’s what we do.
