Vijay Fabricating Engineers

You can find us at the National Arcade in Ghazipur, right near the Punjab National Bank branch. It’s a local shopping complex, and we’ve got our unit at number 5. We do a lot of fabricating and engineering stuff, mostly involving metal and welding tools. It gets pretty loud in the shop when the machines are running, but that is just how it is with this kind of work. Vijay and the rest of us spend most of the day measuring out pieces of iron or steel and then cutting them down to size. Sometimes we are making gates, and other times it is just small parts for other machines. We’ve been in this spot for a while, so we’ve seen the complex change over time. It’s a busy area, especially being so close to the bank. People come in asking if we can fix things or build something specific they have in mind. We don't have a lot of space for a showroom, so most of what you see are just tools and projects in progress. The grease and the metal shavings are everywhere, but we try to sweep up at the end of the day. It’s honest work, even if it’s sweaty and noisy. We just focus on the task in front of us until the sun goes down and it is time to close up the shutters. It’s a simple setup we have here.
