Vats International

Mandawali is a crowded part of Delhi and Street No 06 in the Railway Colony is always full of life. Vats International is located at 230/21F and you can hear the trains passing by quite clearly from here. The vibrations sometimes make the pens on the desks roll around. It is a small office and we have to be careful not to trip over the wires on the floor. The walls are a bit stained from the monsoon rains but we have some cupboards covering the worst parts. We do a lot of international work so the clocks on the wall show different times but half of them have dead batteries. It gets very hot in the summer and the small fan in the corner doesn't do much except move the warm air around. We drink a lot of cold water from the earthen pot in the hallway. There is a lot of shouting from the street vendors outside which makes it hard to hear on the phone sometimes. We have to step over a big pile of mail every morning when we walk in. The chairs are old and the fabric is starting to tear but they are comfortable enough. We don't have any fancy coffee machines or anything like that. We just make do with what we have and keep the business running.
