Shiva Consulting Services (P) Ltd. is tucked away in 521 Kanungo Apartment, over in 71 I.P.Extn., Patparganj. It’s a bit different because we operate from an apartment complex in Delhi. This means it’s quieter than a typical office block, but it also means we have to be mindful of our neighbors. We spend our days mostly on the phone or on our laptops, talking to people and looking at various documents. It’s a consulting business, so it involves a lot of thinking and sorting through information. Our space is filled with files and the usual office supplies like staplers and printers that sometimes jam when you're in a hurry. We’ve been in Patparganj for a while and like the area because it’s well-connected. Most of us commute using the metro or our own scooters. We don’t have a big reception desk or a sign outside that flashes. It’s just a regular door in the apartment building. People usually call before they come over so we can give them the right directions through the gate. Sometimes we work late into the evening when there’s a lot of paperwork to finish. The tea breaks are usually spent looking out the window at the city. We aren’t a huge firm with hundreds of employees. We’re just a small group of people doing our best to provide some useful advice and services from our office in Kanungo Apartment.
