Suraj Dildara & Party

Suraj Dildara & Party is based out of C-27 in New Seemapuri, right in the Dilshad Garden area. It’s a local place where we mostly handle music and party arrangements for people in the neighborhood. We’ve been in this part of Dilshad Garden for quite some time now, and everyone around here knows where C-27 is. It’s not a big office or anything, just a space where we keep our equipment and meet up to talk about the next gig. We spend a lot of time cleaning the instruments or checking the sound system to make sure nothing breaks during a party. New Seemapuri is a lively place to be. There’s always something going on outside our door. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat or ask about a booking. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. It’s simple work but it takes up all our time. We don't really have a fancy website or anything like that, most people just find us by walking past or hearing about us from someone else. The day usually starts slow and then gets really busy towards the evening when we have to head out to a venue. We just try to get the setup right and keep things honest. It’s a regular life for us here at New Seemapuri, just working and getting by. There's always some music playing or someone laughing in the background while we work.
