Stop & Shop

F-170/1-A is where we are located, right in the Main Bazar of Lakshmi Nagar. It gets very crowded here, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping for their homes. Stop & Shop is a place where we just try to keep the shelves full and the floor clean. It isn't a massive place, but we make the most of the space we have. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting through the narrow parts of the bazar. We spend a lot of time counting stock and talking to the people who live nearby. Lakshmi Nagar is a place where everyone seems to be in a hurry, but they still find a minute to say hello. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure things run okay. The lights stay on late because the market stays active until the sun is long gone. We keep our records in simple notebooks and try to stay on top of the daily chores. The address F-170/1-A has become very familiar to us over the years. We see the same faces every week, and that’s the best part of being in a local bazar. It’s just a regular shop doing regular business in a busy part of Delhi. We don't have fancy lights or music, just the items on the shelf.
