Smith Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at 147 in the Patparganj Industrial Area. If you find the Apollo Hospital, we are just behind it. It is a good location for an engineering setup because the industrial area has everything we need nearby. We spend most of our time at the lathes or the welding stations. The floor is made of concrete and it has seen a lot of wear over the many years we have been here. We do a lot of custom jobs for people who need specific metal parts made for their projects. It is loud, it is hot, and there is always the smell of cutting fluid in the air. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just hear about us through friends and bring their drawings or samples. We look them over and see what can be done. It is a lot of measuring and double-checking the work. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the morning fixing them instead of working on the orders. That is just part of life in a small engineering shop. We have been in Patparganj for a long time now. The neighborhood has grown, but the work remains the same as it always was. We just take it day by day and try to keep the quality where it needs to be. It is not fancy, but it gets the job done for whoever stops by.
