Smart Mart Stores

We are located at A 148 on Vikas Marg in the Shakarpur area. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always busy with traffic and people moving around constantly. Smart Mart Stores is just a local spot where we try to keep the shelves stocked with the things people need for their homes. It’s not a massive supermarket like the ones you see in the big malls. It’s more of a neighborhood store where we recognize a lot of the faces that come through the door every day. We spend a lot of our time unpacking wooden crates and putting things onto the shelves. The aisles are a bit narrow because we try to fit as much variety as possible into the space we have. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded near the checkout counter when everyone finishes their work at the same time in the evening. We don’t have a fancy website or a big corporate office tucked away somewhere. It’s just us working the till and making sure the inventory is right. The floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic we’ve had over the years. We’ve been here at Shakarpur for a good while. People stop in for their daily milk or things they forgot to buy at the bigger markets. It’s a practical place for the community. We keep the lights on and the doors open from early in the morning until late at night. There’s no big philosophy, we just run a shop.
