We are located up on the second floor of Anupam Plaza over in Mayur Vihar Phase-1. It is a decent spot, right in the local shopping center area, so there is always something going on downstairs. Sinogate Sourcing India is basically just a few of us working out of this office. We spend most of our time on the phones or looking at screens, trying to figure out where to get things from. Sourcing is a lot of back and forth, and sometimes things do not go as planned, which can be a bit stressful. The office is not very large, so we end up talking over each other a lot during the day. We have some folders stacked up and a coffee machine that works most of the time. Being in Phase-1 makes it easy for us to grab lunch nearby, which is a plus. We deal with a lot of different products, mostly helping people find manufacturers or suppliers that they cannot seem to track down themselves. It is a lot of logistical work and checking details over and over. We aren't some massive corporation with a lobby and a receptionist. It is just a small team trying to keep the orders moving and making sure the paperwork is mostly right. Sometimes the elevator in the plaza acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We've been here for a bit now and know the local faces.
