Saibi Foods

Our place, Saibi Foods, is located right in the middle of Ghazipur Rajisthan Mandi at number 66. It is not a very large spot, just enough to get the work done every day. We usually get here before the sun is even up because that is when the trucks start arriving from all over the place. The air is always full of dust and the sound of people shouting to get their vehicles moved. We have a small desk where we keep our books, and it is usually covered in tea stains because we drink a lot of it to stay awake. The walls are a bit peeling and the floor is just plain concrete that has seen better days. We do not have any fancy signs or advertisements. People just know us because we have been at Ghazipur for quite some time now. Sometimes the rain comes in through the gaps in the roof and we have to move the sacks around so they do not get wet. It is a lot of physical labor, lifting and shifting things all day long. My cousin helps me out with the heavy stuff. We do not use any big machines, just our hands and a few trolleys. When the day ends, we are usually exhausted and covered in grime, but that is just how life is in the mandi. We like the routine and the people who stop by to chat.
