S K Design is located right on Gandhi Nagar Main Road, specifically in Shanti Mohalla at Shop No X/3850. Being near Gali No 13 means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our door. Gandhi Nagar is a massive place for clothes and fabric, and we are just one small part of that whole system. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the rolls and samples. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we just keep the door open and keep working. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and talking to suppliers who come through the gali. It’s a lot of back and forth, honestly. People come to Shanti Mohalla looking for specific designs, and we try to keep up with what people want these days. There’s no big corporate office here, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of work to do. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a truck unloading, but that’s just life in Gandhi Nagar. We’ve been at this for a while and we know most of the neighbors. It’s a community of people all trying to make a living. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big marketing team. We just open the shop, handle the orders, and go home when the sun goes down. It’s simple but it keeps us busy every single day without fail.
