Munch Design Workshop Pvt. Ltd. is located over in Patparganj at Flat No. 59 in Him Vihar. It’s part of the I.P. Extension area, which is a pretty established part of Delhi. Working out of a flat gives the place a different feel than a standard office building. It’s more personal and a bit quieter, which helps when we’re trying to concentrate on a design. We have turned the space into a functional workshop. There are tools and computers spread out across the rooms. We handle various design tasks throughout the week. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of materials delivered, but we find a way to make it work. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise. Being in Delhi, the weather can get pretty extreme, so we spend a lot of time making sure the air conditioning is actually working. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’re likely to see one of us answering the door with a pencil behind our ear. We’ve been at this address for a while and have a good rhythm going. It’s just about getting the work done and making sure it’s handled right. We aren't into big speeches or marketing gimmicks. We just do the workshop stuff and keep things simple. It's a decent place to work for all of us.
