S D Engineering

S D Engineering is located at Plot No 222 in the Patparganj Industrial Area. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to the layout of the plots, but we’ve been here long enough that we could find our way in the dark. The workshop is pretty typical for this area; we’ve got a lot of tools scattered around and parts waiting to be worked on. We do a lot of general engineering work, which means every day is a little different depending on what someone brings through the door. Some days it’s a small repair, and other days we are trying to fabricate something from scratch. We don’t have a website that looks like a magazine or anything like that. We mostly just talk to our neighbors and the people who have been coming to us for years. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s hot outside, which is nice. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some cups for when we need a break. Most of us wear overalls that have seen better days, stained with oil and dust. It’s a practical environment where we worry more about the quality of the weld or the cut than how the shop looks to a stranger. We just get on with it and try to finish our jobs before the power cuts out or the day ends. It is honest work.
