Rajan Dj & Jagran Group

We operate out of C-237 in Jhilmil Colony, tucked away in the backside area. Rajan Dj & Jagran Group is basically just us and a lot of sound equipment. We spend our days testing speakers and making sure all the wires are actually working. Most of our work happens at night when people have their jagrans or parties. It’s a loud business and we are used to it by now. We don’t have a polished office or anything like that. It’s just a workspace filled with amplifiers and microphones. Jhilmil is our home and most people around here know us. We aren't trying to be some huge national company. We just like providing the music and the sound for the local community. It’s a lot of physical work, moving those heavy speakers into the vans and setting them up on stages. Sometimes we are working in small spaces where it’s hard to fit everything. We just make it work. There’s a lot of tangling of cables and fixing things that get broken during a show. It’s not always easy but we’ve been doing it for years. We don’t have a big sales team. Usually, it’s just someone calling us up because they saw us at their cousin’s wedding. We just show up, set up the gear, and do the job. It’s honest, loud work and it keeps us on our toes.
