Pharmatech Engineering Works

Pharmatech Engineering Works is tucked away at L 96 Shastri Nagar. It’s more of a workshop than a proper office, so it can get a bit noisy with the machines running. We spend most of our time out on the floor working on parts or fixing things that have broken down. We started this because we enjoy the technical side of things and Shastri Nagar seemed like a decent place to set up a shop. It’s not the cleanest place in the world—there’s usually some grease or metal shavings on the floor—but we get the job done. We don’t have a secretary or anything fancy like that. If the phone rings, one of us wipes our hands and picks it up. We take things as they come and try not to overcomplicate the engineering. People bring us drawings or old parts and we see what we can do. It’s been a few years now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. L 96 is easy to spot if you’re looking for the industrial side of the neighborhood. We don’t do any big advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have been here before and know we won't overcharge them for a simple fix. It’s just honest labor in a small space, keeping the machines going for whoever needs us to take a look at their equipment today.
