Vaishnavi Garments

Vaishnavi Garments is located at 9/4828 in Gali No. 6, right by Hallan Chowk in Old Seelampur. It is a busy part of the city, and the streets are always full of people moving clothes and fabrics around on carts. We have our little corner here where we stack up the garments and try to keep things in some kind of order. It is a lot of folding and tagging, and my hands are usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but we have made the space work for us. Most of our customers are locals or people who have been coming to Hallan Chowk for many years. We do not have a big fancy showroom. It is mostly just racks and boxes filled with whatever we have got in stock that week. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the heavy traffic in Old Seelampur, but we just deal with it as it comes. We drink tea with the other shop owners and talk about how the market is doing lately. It is a simple way to make a living. We are not trying to change the world; we are just trying to sell some clothes and keep the business going. If you come by, you will probably find us mid-conversation or knee-deep in a new shipment of shirts.
