Our office for Novatrix Design Pvt Ltd is located at 436 on the ground floor. Being on the ground floor is handy because we do not have to deal with elevators or long flights of stairs when we are carrying heavy folders or boxes of samples. The space is pretty straightforward. We have some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and a lot of drawing tools scattered around. It is the kind of place where work actually happens rather than just talking about it. Sometimes the neighbors from the other units pop in to say hello or ask for a stapler. We have a routine that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The walls are mostly covered with old project notes and calendars that we keep meaning to update. It is not a silent office by any means; there is always someone typing or a phone ringing in the corner. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure everything we send out is decent. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, so we usually keep the front door open when the weather is nice to let some air in. We have been at this address for a bit and it feels like home now. It is just a practical workspace where we get our hands dirty with design work and try to stay on top of the pile of folders on the desk.
