Metro Heart Hospital

Metro Heart Hospital is located at B 197 in Priyadarshini Vihar, right in the heart of Delhi. It’s a place that never really sleeps. If you walk through the doors, you’ll immediately notice the smell of disinfectant and the sound of people talking in hushed tones. We have nurses running around, doctors checking their charts, and families waiting in the lobby. It’s a small hospital, so it can feel a bit cramped when it gets busy. We don’t have those massive glass atriums you see in the new private clinics. Instead, it’s a more lived-in building with narrow hallways and a lot of history. Everyone who works here has been part of the community for a while. We see a lot of people from the neighborhood coming in for check-ups or emergencies. The street outside, Priyadarshini Vihar, is always packed with cars and rickshaws, so it’s quite noisy. Inside, we just try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible despite the chaos. There is always a lot of paperwork to fill out and the machines are constantly beeping. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just about looking after the people who come through the door and making sure they get the attention they need. The shifts are long, and we drink way too much coffee to stay awake, but that’s just how hospital life goes for us. It is hard work but necessary.
